The Sagamore Lens
The towns of Bourne, Sandwich, Falmouth, Mashpee, Barnstable, and Yarmouth are served by the Sagamore Lens.  This lens is 165 square miles with a maximum elevation of 70 feet.  The Sagamore Lens is the largest of the Cape Cod groundwater lenses.

In the off-season, an average of 13 million gallons/day are withdrawn from the lens.  In the summer season, the water volume withdrawn rises to an average of 25 million gallons/day.
