The Monomoy Lens
The towns of Dennis, Brewster, Harwich, Chatham, and Orleans are served by the Monomoy Lens.  This lens is 66 square miles with a maximum elevation of 30 feet.  The Monomoy Lens is the second largest of the Cape Cod groundwater lenses.

In the off-season, an average of 5 million gallons/day are withdrawn from the lens.  In the summer season, the water volume withdrawn rises to an average of 12 million gallons/day.
